Chetan is a software engineering leader with 20+ years’ experience in the technology industry building applications, services & systems. He is a big believer and proponent of Lean Startup methodology, and strongly believes in the Minimum Viable Product concept. Chetan brings to the table a razor sharp focus on delivering customer value using the user-driven results and failing fast when needed. Chetan works as a Principal Engineering Manager at Microsoft.
Nikhil is a Bain & Co Partner in the firm’s India office. He is a leader for Bain’s Business Strategy capability and is a member of Consumer Products practice in India. He is passionate about Bihar and as a consultant understands the big picture of mobile enabled digital revolution currently underway in India.
Darrel is a Singaporean studying Business Economics at UCLA. He started volunteering when he was 16 and has since supported multiple nonprofits and social enterprises in fields such as education, food sustainability and eldercare. Darrel believes in lifting the underprivileged because no one should be made to go through what they experience, and the least anyone can do is to provide help where possible.
Sarita Kumari is the program manager for Turn The Bus based in Patna, Bihar. Sarita is a clinical psychologist by profession. In her role she interacts with the Turn the Bus student community, teacher network, and extended global strategic volunteer team. She also manages the relationship on the ground with Jeevika and other partners.
Shipra believes that we smile through our eyes and that it is truly, absurdly, irreverently possible to gift it to a million others. Herself a graduate from IIM Kozhikode, she has always been drawn towards social impact projects. She feels that together we can break things and change systems. That, somewhere, somehow there's still hope.

Prasad is a front-end developer and perpetual student of technology and universal design who is obsessed with creating delightful experiences that are accessible and valuable to his audience. Equal access to education is a cause very close to his heart. He believes technologists are wielders of great power that they should use to uplift society.
Deepanshu grew up in Faridabad, Haryana and completed his undergraduate computer science degree from the University of Washington. He was privileged enough to go to a private school and consequently a university in the United States and get a quality education. Deepanshu is involved with Turn the Bus so that children who may not be as privileged and fortunate can still have an education that they deserve.
Java Singh is currently a visiting lecturer in the Spanish Department at Doon University, Dehradun. She came to the academic life as a second career, after having founded and run an entrepreneurial venture in floriculture. Her company, Lake Flowers, was the first export-oriented floriculture project to be set up in Uttarakhand, where she grew and exported tulips, liliums, and other flowers for sale in Europe, Middle East, Japan, and elsewhere. Java earned her PhD in Hispanic Literature from Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi and an MBA from IIM, Ahmedabad.
Sreeparna comes with exposure to multiple industries and functions through her experience as a strategy consultant. KKR is an IIM Ahmedabad alumnus with over 25 years of experience in working in rural India for strategic government-affiliated technology and infrastructure projects. He believes that a motivated student can go the distance with the help of high quality educational content. Sayan Bhatia is a sophomore at Redmond High School and is an advocate for utilizing technology to transform education for those who are unprivileged. His ambition for solving real-world problems with technology began with his interest in building iOS apps in early middle school. Over the years, he has gained experience in many areas of software development and is looking forward to expanding his skills as a developer on the Turn the Bus team. Since joining in the summer of 2019, he has continued his work on a chatbot app for underprivileged students. He is thrilled to be working along with this organization’s members to successfully provide students in the underdeveloped parts of India with more educational opportunities.
Sohil Bhatia is currently a freshman who attends Redmond High School. He not only has a passion for developing and learning technology but is constantly active in utilizing technology to help solve real-world problems. He joined the Turn The Bus team in the fall of 2019, and is currently working on the development of a mobile app chatbot for students in underdeveloped parts of India, to help them learn more effectively. He is excited to be a part of the positive change that Turn The Bus is bringing to the learning experience for thousands of students through innovative technologies.

While she successfully sold noodles, toothpaste, cars and contraceptives amongst other products and services to Indian consumers, there was always an urge to use her considerable experience to provide support to her countrymen and women at the bottom of the pyramid.
